SteamWorld is a series of video games depicting the adventures of a race of robots in a steampunk world. The games are developed and published by the Swedish video game developer Image & Form. They started with the release of SteamWorld Tower Defense in 2010, a tower-defense game for Nintendo DSi. After it, they also released the games SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Heist, SteamWorld Dig 2 and SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech during the following years for a wide range of different platforms.
