Rosie is an inhabitant of the Oasis, and the main antagonist of Steamworld Dig 2. As such, she serves as the final boss. She is thought to be the leader of the remaining Shiner clan.
Boss Fight[]
Rosie's fight consists of five phases (That is including this one) where the first phase of the fight contains Rosie repeatedly shooting homing rockets from the ground. Ending the first phase by deflecting the rocket back at her and hitting her 8 consecutive times with the pickaxe. Same applies for every phase.
The second phase is 40 seconds long, where in the first half of the phase random patterns of dirt and sand with larvae spawn. After that, Rosie starts flying and attacks by using heavy bullets that deal a single heart of damage (Without the Ultra Composite Armor) and homing missiles that deal 1.5 hearts of damage which also destroys the surrounding dirt.
The third phase introduces bricks and a new projectile that deals 1.5 hearts of damage and is able to destroy every tile that comes into contact. The phase is around 50 seconds long. As for every phase, it has a different combination of tiles, i.e. The bricks and also sand. The phase contains only parrots, heavy bullets and homing missiles.
The fourth phase is also around 50 seconds long, unlike the previous phase it does not contain any bricks and no orbs. This phase introduces a new ability where Rosie would fly towards the player dealing 2.5 hearts of damage on contact. She does it twice for 10 seconds between other states. And it also introduces the rising acid. Same as for the last phase this phase contains parrots but no orbs, heavy bullets and homing missiles.
The fifth phase is 1 minute long, It has everything that the fourth phase has except it has an higher level of acid, the orb projectile and no enemies.
